Congratulations to assistant instructor Ciaran Doyle on achieving exceptional results (10 A's) in his Junior Cert Exams
It was a fine evening and Mr Fitzgibbon arrived on time to grade eight nervous students who stood ready and waiting. Starting with the four higher grades he gave them a thorough testing on their Tul. He then called the remaining four students out and continued to examine Tul. The students were tested on combinations and kicks and some of the required elements from the syllabus before being asked to spar. The grading finished with breaking and theory and approximately an hour and a quarter later it was all over. Congratulations to all on a job well done.
On Monday 31 March at a private ceremony Master Choi promoted our President Mr Don Dalton to Master. He referred to him as the Jewel in the I.T.F. crown. There is no harder working or more deserving person – Congratulations Sir - we are all very proud of you.
"I have trained with many different Masters in several countries but no one has ever inspired me the way Master Choi does. His presence in the
room fills it to capacity, and I hang on his every word. I want to know more and it’s a hunger that never goes away. I look forward to the next
opportunity to train with The Master again."
